Running until December 31st 2022,
This exhibition at the National Picasso Museum is dedicated to the world-famous artist’s daughter.
The event mainly highlights some of the fourteen portraits of Maya Ruiz painted by the artist between 1938 and 1939.
An opportunity to discover the artist from another angle, with letters, poems and personal objects bearing witness to the bond between father and daughter.
The exhibition also features works evoking happy times when the artist and his 4 children were reunited during his period in Cannes. Thanks to Maya’s donation to the French State, the museum now boasts a further 6 paintings, 9 sculptures and a sketchbook.
