Discover our District George V agency and lifestyle in the neighbourhood

The District George V agency team shares their neighbourhood and their daily life with us.

  • Morning coffee

We regularly meet at the Café in rue Clément Marot for a quick debrief, as well as a moment of relaxation before getting down to business.

  • Lunch break

The Ferdi restaurant, rue du Boccador, right next to the agency. All dishes are high quality and their Cheeseburger and fries are excellent… a little indulgence to be succumbed to in moderation, of course…

Chez André, an institution since 1936, or La Belle Ferronnière for its superb terrace.

Le Ginger, another institution in the neighbourhood, which is perfect for a relaxed and convivial lunch. Thai-inspired cuisine takes us to Asia without moving more than 10 meters from the agency! An attentive team and an adorable manager.

  • Sightseeing

Everything is beautiful in the Golden Triangle; just open your eyes and look up! Criss-crossed by beautiful avenues lined with superb Haussmannian buildings and sumptuous private mansions, the neighbourhood is truly magical! Stroll through the prestigious “Golden Triangle” starting at Étoile and the Arc de Triomphe, descend the Champs Elysees, the most beautiful avenue in the world as it is known, then branch off to Avenue Montaigne and its ultra-chic boutiques. From here head for Place de l’Alma on the banks of the Seine to marvel at a picture-postcard view of the Eiffel Tower before walking up Avenue George V to rejoin the Champs Elysees by Fouquet’s… A superb walk or, for the sportier participant, jog!

  • Cultural activities in the neighbourhood

There is plenty to choose:

Starting with the cinemas on the Champs Elysees, or illustrious theatres such as the Théâtre des Champs Élysées in avenue Montaigne (a theatre and concert hall) or the Théâtre du Rond-Point in avenue Franklin Roosevelt. Museums include the Galliera Museum, the Guimet Museum, the Place du Trocadéro’s Museum of Architecture and Heritage and the Yves St Laurent Museum…

  • Shops and boutiques…

For clothing, head for Berluti in rue Marbeuf or the Officine in avenue Marceau for superb Italian collections, a shop run by our good friend Victor.

For those with a sweet tooth, the Maison du Chocolat in rue François 1er is a must!

The little Micha Concept Store in Rue Marbeuf is a true work of art! The owner’s little dog is ready to welcome customers as it sits in the front window which is a visual delight changing from one season to the next.

  • What’s best about working at the agency?

It is in a magnificent neighbourhood that never ceases to amaze with its superb private mansions and visitors from across the globe.

We are incredibly lucky to be able to discover sumptuous apartments, often furnished and decorated by renowned architects. Our job is so much more than just the sale and rental of assets, it’s a peek into a treasure chest brimming with gems…

  • The specificities of a real estate agency in this neighbourhood

Our District George V agency is located in the heart of one of the capital’s most prestigious neighbourhoods: the 8th District’s Golden Triangle which is bordered by elegant Avenue George V, luxurious Avenue Montaigne and the unique Champs Élysées. Our international clientele expects a service that is as exceptional as the surroundings.

  • What we love about this neighbourhood

A multitude of food shops, 3 magnificent palace hotels in the immediate vicinity (ideal for a business breakfast, brunch or dinner) and, who knows…

the chance of bumping into a celebrity on any street corner and perhaps showing him or her around one of the gems in our portfolio!
